    @118Combination
    Barry Sanders 3 years of college rushing stats:
    total yards: 3797, attempts: 558, avg: 5.9 per carry

    Walkers 3 years of college rushing stats:
    total yards: 5259, attempts: 994, avg: 5.3 per carry

    Sanders was a better NFL running back, but his stats dont justify him as a better college running back.

    How does Barry Sanders not get #1? The only season he played he demolished nearly every record he could, some that may never be broken.

    May the Lord Almighty God of Israel bless Herschel, I love him, he is my bother in Christ…he speaks my words as if God showed me His greatness through someone else…take Phosphatal Choline and Phosphatal Serine for his memory…
    I sincerely hope this helps him!

    From a lifelong Bama fan-Hershel IS the greatest ever. I lived in Peachtree City Ga. during his playing days so I got a good first hand look. Hershel carried the Dawgs on his back for three years against top flight competition. If he had of played his senior year his records would never be broken.

    @KevinDurant206 Just for the hell of it I’ll let you know a stat nobody ever throws out. Even though he played his first 3 seasons in another league Herschel is still number 8 in NFL history as far as all purpose yards.

    @KevinDurant206 had he not signed to the USFL for 2 years and stayed his senior year with the Bulldogs and then got drafted to the cowboys i think that wouldve made a hell of a difference, i think he might have gotten off to a better start in the NFL

  24. iamthewalrus374 on 1月 30th, 2012 8:46 AM

    @dawgfanfromdublin What, running the ball? lol. It’s not so much how he played, it was how much we gave up to get him. I know it’s not his Herschel’s fault that they did that, but still. Mike Lynn: I hate you

  25. dawgfanfromdublin on 1月 30th, 2012 9:42 AM

    @iamthewalrus374 Herschel was put into an offense that did not fit him in Minnesota.
