Would you be able to mark the stroller as a gift so I could avoid customs fees to Canada?

We wish we could do that, but we have to mark the item in a truthful manner. Because the stroller is manufactured in the far East, there are customs due when shipping outside of the United States.

Is the stroller available for pick up?

Sure, come on over! We have two locations in Northern California: sunny Sebastopol and green Grass Valley. All you have to do is email us, and we’ll send the directions.

Do you ship outside of North America?

At this point, we ship only to Canada and the United States. However, if you’re simply dying for our stroller, email us and we’ll try to work out a shipping arrangement.

Warranty & Returns:

What is your return policy?

We will gladly refund items in the original packaging as you received it. You must email us at kidzkargo@gmail.com and request a refund within 5 days upon receipt of the item. Upon receiving your request, we will email you a packing slip. Please print the slip, fill it out completely, and enclose it inside the package.

1. Open box returns without the packing slip will not be honored.

2. There will be a charge for each part or accessory missing.

Shipping and handling charges will not be refunded. You will be responsible for shipping fees to return the item to us.

Do you offer any kind of warranty?

We guarantee that all of our strollers will arrive free of defect. Beyond that, the manufacturer offers a 6 month warranty against defects.

Stroller Basics:

Can this stroller hold one infant car seat in either the front or rear seat?

The Kidz Kargo Discovera was not designed to hold a car seat. The back seat does recline almost flat, making it an optimal place to lay your newborn or infant.

Does the stroller meet the appropriate safety standards?

The Kidz Kargo Discovera conforms to BS 7409:1996, the specification for safety requirements for wheeled child conveyances.

Will my children fit? How roomy would you say the seats are?

Long answer: Ah, the eternal question. Hopefully, one day everyone will own a Kidz Kargo stroller, and then all you’d have to do is try your kids out in your neighbors Discovera. Until that fateful day, take a close look at the dimensions, age guidelines, and weight limits on the stroller detail page.

Short answer: Both seats are suitable up to 33 pounds, and the back seat has ample leg room for most 3 year old children (depending, of course, on the child’s height and weight).

Very short answer: You won’t know till you try.

Is the size of the stroller a lot bigger than a regular jogging stroller?

Here’ s the beauty of the Discovera. Because of its exclusive tandem design, the stroller is almost the same width and length as a single jogging stroller.

Does it come in any other colors?

Not at this time. But keep your fingers crossed, we hope to have more colors by the end of this year.

Can you run with this stroller?

The Kidz Kargo Discovera was designed as a jogging stroller. That said, you probably don’t want to be doing wind sprints with your newborn baby and toddler on board. We ask that you use the stroller responsibly with your children’s safety in mind. And be sure to lock the front swivel wheel when you jog to insure that you always remain in control of the stroller.

Stroller Specifics:

So the weight limit per seat is only 33lbs?

This is a weight limit given by the privately contracted company who tests the safety of the stroller. We’ve found that our children over 33 lbs. fit great, with no added stress on the stroller or the person pushing the stroller. Of course, we can’t recommend exceeding the limit, as it might compromise the stability of the stroller.

Does it have a hand brake in addition to the foot brake?

The Discovera is not equipped with a hand brake.

Does the handle have different positions?

The stroller handle only has one position.

What are the size of the tires on this stroller? Are the back wheels the same size as the front wheel?

The pneumatic tires are 12 inches wide. They are all the same size.

Are either of the seats removable if you only want to take one child with you?

The seats are not removable, but with the Discovera’s tandem design, this isn’t a problem. Most double strollers seat the children side by side, and even if you want to only take one child, you still have to wrestle with the added width and mass. Not so with the Discovera. Take one, take two; you won’t notice the difference.

How are the seats adjusted?

The front seat is adjusted with a small aluminum handle. The back seat is adjusted by two sets of clasps, like the ones you’d find on a waist pack. The front seat and the back seat have three positions.

Is there a tray for the front seat?

Sorry, no.

Does the back seat of this stroller recline to a laying position for a newborn?

The back seat of the stroller is suitable from birth, and reclines almost flat (to about 160 degrees). And you’ll be happy to know, no infant has yet to overcome the Discovera’s gentle, sleep-inducing ride.

Does the stroller fold up easily for storage?

The stroller does fold easily. However, because it is a double jogging stroller, and therefore has twice the material of a single stroller, it takes up a bit more room. You can fit it in the trunk of a full-size sedan or minivan, and getting it into your SUV should be a snap.
